about Rachel:
Hi! I'm Rachel. I grew up in a Brady Bunch meets Partridge Family household: 3 brothers, 3 sisters and me, all of us passionate about the performing arts. Unconventional is the word that best describes me. I refused to pierce my ears when all my friends were doing it; my husband proposed to me while I was wearing sweatpants; we later eloped to Jamaica. When Millie announced that she was interviewing for MHP company photographers, I drove all of the way from Ohio to Wilmington, NC for the job interview.
I've got lots of energy, I'm spontaneous, and I have a unique way of looking at the world. They're the qualities that make my life a little crazy, but they're the same qualities that make my photography "vibrant, colorful and just right for Millie Holloman Photography" (that's what she says...what a compliment from her!). Our Shoots & Ladders sets have been a huge success with loads of bookings and we’ve had lots of requests for Charlotte & Raleigh Christmas sessions! Although we can’t bring the sets your way quite yet, we did want you to have the opportunity to participate in our mini sessions this season. This session is for familes and kids of all ages. Attention parents: We are making your life even easier because this time around our session fee includes a full family shot and images of the little ones (we’ve extended the time by 10 minutes to be sure to fit everything in as our Christmas gift to you). The session fee also includes 25 Christmas Cards. Don’t have kids? That’s okay, you can play, too; just read below for details.

Below are the details. Each city has only two days of shooting and it's sure to fill VERY quickly, so email to book right away!
DETAILS
$200 session fee includes a family shot and images of the kids during a 30 minute mini session (up to 3 kids - $25 per additional child) + 25 5x7 Christmas Cards (complete with envelopes)
location: Rachel will be shooting our Charlotte families at The Green | Rebecca will be shooting our Raleigh families on Fayetteville Street! (exact address' for both locations will be given upon booking)
dress: bundle! hats, winter coats, mitten, scarves. Think layers and lots of fun!
We'll present the images (10 proofs) to you online within two weeks of the session!

Your session must be paid when booking. Payments are non-refundable. Choose your time carefully, once it’s chosen it’s reserved just for you. Be punctual. Showing up late gives you less time in our set. Additional Christmas cards available for purchase. Prints sold separately. Batteries not included. |

Julianna asked me to do her bridal session a few weeks before her wedding at the historic Duke Mansion here in Charlotte, North Carolina. Now that she is a married lady, I'm so excited to share a few from her shoot! This was the first time I met Julianna, and it was such a pleasure. She lights up the room with her smile and gracious southern style. Her one request for her bridal photos was soft, pretty light. We got lucky with a gorgeous, sunny day so it couldn't have been more perfect!

Courtney is my awesome second shooter. If you have had a wedding with me in the past year or so, odds are you know her! She has made my work so much easier by doing her job well, and I appreciate her dedication so very much. I felt so privileged to do her maternity photos!
We met in my neighborhood on a stormy day and drove around a few miles here, a few miles there, pretty much winging it. I love doing quick shoots like this with someone that trusts me enough to know that it's going to turn out great! Courtney's outfit is adorable, right?! And I have to say, I'm totally jealous of her amazing hair. |
| I have been wanting to take pictures here for years. Years! I drive by this spot almost every day and say, "I'm gonna use that place one day". This was the day and I love it! |
| The one request Courtney had was to find a pretty field for a few shots. I must say, this is one of the prettiest fields I've ever come across. Add to it the fact that Courtney carries her baby bump beautifully and you've got a smashing set of images. |

Carrie and Erik just tied the knot in Asheville, North Carolina, and I'm so excited to share her bridal photos with you! The awesome staff at The Orchard House welcomed us for Carrie's bridal session. When we arrived, it was already starting to thunder and lighting. We thought for sure that we'd have to do the majority of the pictures inside, but somehow the rain held off for 45 minutes so we could get these lovely images.
Carrie is every bit as sweet as she looks! She's the type of bride that reminds me why I love what I do. |

| Hollins is a beautiful girl who radiates energy and spunk! It was an absolute joy to come visit her and her family for her photo shoot. We started in her room where she loves to spend lots of time reading. |
| Her vanity is so typical for a teenage girl! I remember when mine looked just like it. There are so many notes and trinkets on there I'm surprised she can see herself in there! ;) |
