Hi there! Welcome to the Millie Holloman Photography blog. Our company has just one name, but we’re an entire team of crazy, creative, passionate, professional photographers. We’re based all over North Carolina (Wilmington, Raleigh, & Charlotte), but we work all over the world. What do we shoot? In one word: Love. Wedding Love. Baby Love. Family Love. Love of details. Triple 7 Kids Shootout was such an awesome opportunity to throw a different kind of event for photographers. What an opportunity to have seven custom sets fully styled! Shannon and I have been dreaming up these sets for months. Having such fun and fabulous sets in one location with such adorable kids to boot made this portfolio building workshop a HUGE success. I mean who would not want to shoot sets, wardrobes, and kids this cute all day long?! I'm lucky I had even a few short minutes to run around and grab some shots of these little cuties and this wardrobe that Shannon worked closely with Lisa's Mini Mad Hattery to create, could it get any cuter? I think not!

This little guy was born for this set, he threw punches for a full 2.5 hours and never tired out and check out his little muscles, he is ripped!

We did it! Triple 7 Kids Shooutout was a huge success and we sold out at 30 attendees; what an awesome time! Our models were rock stars, our sponsors were as generous as they come, the studio was a perfect location, they went above and beyond, and the attendees were amazing in every way! We really could not have asked for a better group all around. I'm still editing images but thought I would post a little sneak peek of our hot air balloon set... how cute are these kids?!

Lauren and Bill are getting married this spring in beautiful Pinehurst, North Carolina, so I met up with them there for their engagement shoot. We went around the city to a few tourist attractions. The first was the gorgeous Pinehurst Resort. Bill loves golf and this amazing place is rich with golf history. Pinehurst will also be hosting the U.S. Open in 2014! The grounds there were stunning and Lauren and Bill seemed to fit right in. They are a beautiful and very sweet couple.

| Sometimes the simplest idea can turn into something so sweet and special. These next three shots were all taken within a few seconds of each other. Same location, same pose, same everything. But different feeling, right? Getting to work with couples in love makes my job so easy! |
| At the very end of the session, just moments before the light left us, we took a final few shots in a wooded area just across the street from the downtown shops. I loved everything about this place. The light coming through the trees, the simplicity of the forest, the warm colors and the way Lauren and Bill immediately felt comfortable and relaxed here. This series is most definitely my favorite of the session. |
