Hi there! Welcome to the Millie Holloman Photography blog. Our company has just one name, but we’re an entire team of crazy, creative, passionate, professional photographers. We’re based all over North Carolina (Wilmington, Raleigh, & Charlotte), but we work all over the world. What do we shoot? In one word: Love. Wedding Love. Baby Love. Family Love. Love of details. | Megan and Brett are a beautiful couple and their Hawaiian inspired wedding was full of color and life! Because of Brett's hectic schedule with playing basketball in Italy, we didn't have a chance to do an engagement shoot before the wedding. When I walked into Megan's parents home and saw her for the first time getting ready, all I could think was WOW, she's so beautiful. Megan & Brett are a sweet couple and I so enjoyed their wedding day! |

| The details in Megan and Brett's wedding were done with simplicity and class. I loved the streamlined flower arrangements - one for the bridesmaids and another for the maid of honor. |
| The ceremony was held at Airlie Gardens on a beautiful, sunny day. I adore this shot that Rebecca caught of Brett seeing his ga-ga-gorgeous bride, Megan coming down the aisle. So sweet. |
| This is the smallest little detail, but it made such an impact for me. Megan is holding her father's hand. She doesn't have her arm interlocked with his. It makes so much sense to me to walk down the aisle with your father this way! When I look at this image, I wonder if they thought of that or if it just happened. |

| We had a total of about 5 minutes for pictures of just the two of them after the ceremony, which is not ideal, but I didn't want them to miss one second of their party! We had to work fast, but Megan and Brett were so natural and comfortable in front of the camera! I think this series of them turned out pretty amazing. |
| Favorite image of the day! It makes me so happy when the guests actually watch the first dance. Everyone was cheering for them, rooting them on and congratulating them. Love it! |

| The cutie pituty on the right is Kayleigh! You may remember her as the MHP intern - she has graduated on to second shooter status this year. Love that girl! |
| The band ROCKED. I've never seen the lead singer of a band be so interactive. |
| Megan and Brett's reception was rockin'. Everyone danced and the floor was jam-packed. I love shooting receptions like this! |

The staff members at Freedom House Church in Charlotte NC are amazingly fun! We just went uptown for their staff photos and had a fantastic time. They are rowdy, kooky and passionate about serving Jesus!
