Joanna and Jesse are young and very much in love. They traveled up to Charlotte from Salisbury (their hometown) for their engagement session and we had an absolute blast! They chose to bring two things that were personal to them as a couple. The first was this red 4x4. I know what you're thinking. How could a truck be personal enough to include in a photo shoot? Well, I'll tell ya! Joanna and Jesse had their very first date eating ice cream in the back of this truck. They were young (still in high school), nervous and crazy about each other. Ah, love!



This sweet couple is getting married next spring at the Orchard House and couldn't be more excited!




The property we shot on was full of little sheds and nooks like this. I shot first from the inside...


...and then went outside for a completely different perspective on the same location. Don't you just love a blue sky?



Love the simplicity of this one.




The second thing Jesse brought for their engagement session was this harley. Jesse was waiting for the harley pictures with anxious anticipation. When it was time, he lit up like a lightbulb! Boys and their grown-up toys, right? ;)

At the very end of the session just moments before the sun went down, Joanna and Jesse took a drive through the open field. Don't they look like they're going so fast?!


Joanna and Jesse, you were so fun and carefree to work with! I had a great time with you both and can't wait for your wedding next year!
