Hi there! Welcome to the Millie Holloman Photography blog. Our company has just one name, but we’re an entire team of crazy, creative, passionate, professional photographers. We’re based all over North Carolina (Wilmington, Raleigh, & Charlotte), but we work all over the world. What do we shoot? In one word: Love. Wedding Love. Baby Love. Family Love. Love of details. | Jennifer and Danny are getting married next year at the beautiful Orchard House in Concord North Carolina. They met at Phil's Tavern in uptown Charlotte, so we started their engagement session there. We must have been there during rush hour, because it seemed like everyone was traveling down the street with briefcases and name tags in tow! Instead of waiting for people to pass, we decided to go with it. I LOVE clients like Jennifer and Danny. They trusted me enough to kiss in front of a crowd and it totally paid off! |
| After we took this shot with the magazine, Jennifer kept it. When I asked why, she said her mom was a scrapbooker and would probably want a copy. How sweet to be thinking of others even in the midst of your engagement shoot! |
| The story behind their laughter is pretty amazing. I told Jennifer and Danny to run over to this taxi cab and snuggle a bit. We were going for the New York look. Someone must have gotten the memo, because they shouted New York style "Get a room!". Obviously, Jennifer and Danny thought this was hilarious! I did too, but I kept shooting. :) |
| After our time in uptown Charlotte, we took a little drive to a beautiful abandoned barn in the outskirts of Charlotte. Jennifer and Danny brought their adorable pup for a few shots. Like most young dogs, this little one was full of energy and ready to play. I made the mistake of asking them to pose and kiss a little while I tried to get their dog's attention. It obviously didn't work, but I love the shot even more because of it! :) |

| At the very end of our time together, I asked Jennifer and Danny if they would step inside of an old silo for a few shots. They, being the amazing and fun-loving couple that they are, were all for it! |
